I would like to see the modern techniques for mass production discus.
*How to build an efficient central filter and cheap.
*urrent medicine in the market now and how to use them for discus.
*Optimal water recirculation rates.
*I know you have a sketch for filtration and a whole system in DTNT, but what about sizes of filter.
*Secrets that very few people are revealing about filtration. Cheap filtration media.
*Sexing discus. I read the info in DTNT but lots of real pictures based on the method of different strains male and female, so we can master the method.
*Discus easy to breed for newbies.

If i think some more i will add.

Thanks

I contacted you some time ago ( about 18 months ) with a problem of loosing baby discus ( 2 to 3 cms ) and you very kindly gave a lot of advice as how to treat for infections. I lost all 80 babies and only read elsewhere that this may have been caused by the use of an AIRSTONE in the tank. The reason given is that the babies swim against the current and exhaust themselves. This would explain the continual loss of one or two babies per day.
The reason for this email is that maybe you could use this information in your new book

Thank you for your info, Gerald

My book has included this issue but if I am not mistaken, I have not seen your problem in photos......sorry for not being able to save your discus babies.

Babies dying can be divided into two.....one is dying at 3 weeks and the other is four weeks syndrome......which are discussed in my new book which is already completed and is tidying up....to be launched hopefully in November.

At the same time, I believe it is not the aeration.

Thanks and regards,
Andrew
