Postby Walter Soestbergen » Wed Oct 20, 2010 5:53 pm

Hello All,

It was time to do a forum upgrade. Layout has changed a little but is not 100% ready. If you see or encounter problems please let me know. For now look arround.

I always supposed it wasn't that hard, after all you already were upgraded
to the higher level of the phpBB. Just taking out some tricks ;)

Does this means you'll go on with the lay-out changes included the website?

do you have some suggestions? I tryed to make it a little different then before but with simular colors :-).

It wasn't indeed hard but I did some research before and 1 test migration. So I knew what happend and how to solve it :bwian:

I do not plan to heavily modificate the forum to keep future upgrades easy. I can make some modifications, but only when nececarry.

I understand that the old fotoalbum are gone that makes some of my old threads strange or worthless. Like this viewtopic.php?f=13&t=7300
I can repair this do i have most of the pictures left, but then i must have the option to edit my one post.
Just a tought. :)

Hi Kaj,

Good point. I don't think it is possible for us (Mods of DPH) to get the pics back as the location the link is pointing to is no longer connected.

Your thread is a particularly good one and provides lots of valuable information as well as amazing pics.

If you are able to store the pics somewhere (like Walter mentioned) then I will be able to edit your post to store them and we can also mark the thread as sticky in a sub forum so it's not lost with history.

It will be a little work but if you want I can do it this weekend...............Long weekend here in Ireland..............Yyyyyyyyyiiiiippppppeeeeeeeeeee

Best Regards.....................Tony
