Should I use anti-botics and if so when?

Postby Walter Soestbergen » Sat Jan 31, 2004 12:49 pm

Now that is a tough question. First let me say, that the over use of anti-botics has killed just slightly fewer discus then improper water changes or over feeding. If your going to use any chemical compound make darn sure you know why! Don't be a johnny come lately keeper and just start dumping stuff in the water. You can check out the web for information, and I consider about 85% of the information on this subject totally wrong. Unless you have a specific reason to use a specific anti-botic or chemical DON'T. Use the ( KISS System.) Keep it simple stupid. In most cases water changes will solve the problem in more cases then not.
I'm myself, there are already enough others.
