This book was my first book that I got and it is excellent for the beginner as it has all the information needed to get you started. It has some really good photos of discus, breeding, with fry, wild discus and cultivated varieties. There is a good part on buying discus for the first time telling you what to look for in the perfect discus.

The best part of the book is the health part which tells you how to spot diseases and how to treat them. Also good is the part on how to stimulate reluctant breeders to spawn.

I'd give this 10 out of 10.
I'm myself, there are already enough others.
