Making a triangular breeding Plate and Cover
by Md. Masud

Hello everyone
This is a small DIY Project that I undertook for my breeding tank. My project involves making a triangular breeding plate and a rectangular cover so that you can cover the breeding plate when your fish spawns in it and put methylene blue inside the rectangular box instead of the whole tank.

First you need glass plates for the triangle plate and the rectangular box

Make sure your breeding plate is smaller than your rectangular box or else you wonÂ’t be able to insert the breeding plate inside the box.
My measurements were:

    Breeding Plate:
  • 1) Square base 2 X 2 inch
  • 2) Side Plate 9 X 3 inch for both side

    Cover:
  • 3) 12 X 4 inch all four plates

For pasting them I used silicon glue which is used for aquarium, make sure your silicon glue is aquarium safe. DonÂ’t forget to wear gloves and make sure your working place is well ventilated.

Before gluing them you can use tape to hold them together.
