I used to feed my discus by hand when feeding beefheart, to keep them at the top.
First i had 3 in 1 tank, then 8 in two tanks, now 14 in two tanks, where else can i put a tank.?? I`m running out of rooms.!!

I worried about the buffering that the Discus sometimes got from the Syno's but they all seemed ok for some strange reason!...The Pericola's are nothing like that and as i say, not as big so i wouldn't even give it a 2nd thought to mix them in...I only got rid of my Syno's because i wanted an authentic S.American set-up, oh yes, and my cousin offered me decent money to take them off my hands!

I do love the petricola, i think it has to be my 2nd fav fishie of all time, such a handsome fish, lovely colouring, my two are very placid.

Yes, the petricola is a nice looking fish

When my brother and I started keeping fish we were mad for channel catfish because we thought they swam like sharks. But then all our guppies went missing and the fish got too large for our tank...... :erm: :erm: :erm:

I remember a few years back at a place in peterborough called the WaterZoo, still there now, but they had this 3.5-4ft catfish in a 10000 ltr tank and they fed it baby trout, i used to always make a point of going there when they fed it, awesome fish.
