Hi Kevin :welcome:

If you get actual "Black Worms" and not just "clean Tubifex" worms... greatly reduced risk of disease and parasites.... so... answer is black worms ok / good.

Hi, Kevin:

I use live blackworms fairly regularly. I have a problem keeping them in good shape tho....find they go "skanky" fairly quickly. I haven't been able to culture them so far.

My discus go crazy for them...i restrict them to 3 times weekly....high energy "treat" status....but i've only had good results. Lots of pairs coming together after conditioning with this kind of live food.

Hope this is helpful!
