Background colour?

Postby Mark Woodhouse » Thu Jan 26, 2012 12:51 pm

Quick question if possible?!
Before my new tank goes in this weekend, i have to paint 2 sides because it is going in a corner.
I know that Discus like a light coloured background but what do Altums like do you think?
Light or dark to bring the best out of them in anybodies experience?
Thanks!

Well dona Maria, you make perfect sense!
Now if i could only have half a clue what Tony meant, then i'd be a much wiser person!
Now Tony...light or dark?!

Okay!
How come Discus show better colours in a bright tank then instead of one with black painted sides etc, that is always what i was lead to believe?!
Right then, any colour it is then!
Thanks.

Use vinyl - you can always change it then.

The tank colour isn't important to my fish...But to my wife, that's another story!
I've had to pick a shade that blends in a bit with the living room, that way i don't get whinged at for having a tank in there, so obviously no marine blue background as the living room has no blue in it etc etc, oh well nearly all done now!

Tony - I get that you have a wacky sense of humor, and as a female I should know all about the effects of a full moon but I am afraid you'll have to explain "dona Maria - get back you muppet" ???

  :bwian:  :fronw:

Mark said, "dona Maria" a mistype that sounds like a Spanish or Italian name (Donna Maria  :?:  ) so I asked Who The Fewk is that  this was my gemini side who made the comment............a guy called Jasper so I told the muppet to get back in his place.

Hope this clarifies things :?:  :?:

Best Regards..................Tony
