Hi Walter and Fred :welcome:

the problem is that no matter what i try i can not delete the avator image although i can change it to another one.

it appears that the setup wants to permanently read an avator

if i put my own picture in Profile photo control panel it does show in my profile however it also shows the avator is still there and active.

i do not understand the de-bug message

do you know what that means???

regards.
.....Keep well.....Jim.....

 have fun and be very nice to each other

Hi Jim :welcome:

In short it means do NOT delete the current Avatar, just upload the new one, scroll down until you see "submit" button... click on that... wait to get the message that it worked ok... then instantly or in a few ... depending on if we are in the forum or not... the new Avatar will appear in your posts.
Regards,

fred :hat:

Hi Jim :welcome:

As you can see I have changed my Avatar. Using Internet Explorer browser upload the pic you want from your PC. This pic MUST be no higher than 100 pixels and no wider than 100 pixels with jpg file size no larger than 12 Kb. IF not sure what I am saying and how to make your intended pic those dimensions please e mail me the pic and I will resize it for you and e mail it back. Save it to your hard drive ( put it on your PC and not on a disc ) click on the "browse" button in the "from your PC" line in your profile and locate the avatar, scroll to bottom of your profile and click on "submit", when you get the confirmation message that the avatar is uploaded your new avatar will be in your posts. DO NOT try to delete the current avatar, just upload the new one, the new version of the forum will overwrite the current avatar once one of us ok's the pic ( no adult content types allowed on DPH ).
Regards,

fred :hat:

Hi Jude :welcome:

Yeah... and they are even larger now... still "hyper" regarding eating algae though... and NOT bothering the discus at all... well.... when beefheart hits the tank they "compete" for the food... but even then they do NOT 'jostle" the dicus like loaches will  so find them to be "as advertized" regarding compatiblity with discus  I ended up mail ording mine which is why it took about 2 months before I could take pics of them... so small that the black like was hard to notice going into the tail... and when that young they are pretty much NOT colored on the bodies  now that "black outline" on the scales sticks out "like sore thumb".... so I need to update the pics
